Are you still taking new orders?
No. This site is an archive and portfolio, and everything described above is what used to be offered. You can read more on the About page, in the answer to whether mediasetbg.com still provides these services.
What stages did a project go through?
Five stages: concept (needs analysis and content structure), design (an individual visual style), final polish (bringing it to a launch-ready state), development (front-end and back-end, plus a content management system where needed), and, optionally, technical support after launch.
How did the client manage their site's content?
Where it was needed, a content management system was built. At first this was our own platform (later @PANEL), and for some sites, from around 2015 onward, WordPress.
Why were some sites on our own platform and others on WordPress?
Our own platform was created in 2003, when off-the-shelf systems still weren't stable enough. As they matured, some sites moved to WordPress. After version 3.x, WordPress had become stable and reliable enough to switch to.
Who owned the site after completion?
After completion, the site belonged to the client.
What did technical support include?
Maintenance, updates, and help with future changes — optional, after the site launched.
What about security?
Our own platform was built from scratch with a focus on reliability and ease of management. Security was a concern at every stage — from development to maintenance — shaped by what the specific platform allowed.
How was each project approached?
Every project was approached individually — no two sites were alike, because no two clients were alike.
Who was the service for?
The services were aimed at both individuals and organizations — from cultural and public institutions, through community cultural centers and associations, to organizations with international activities.
