@PANEL
An in-house content management system, built from scratch — used to manage several client sites at once.
Overview
@PANEL is mediasetbg.com's in-house content management system — a successor to the platform built from scratch in 2003 (see “Technologies” on the About page). In 2011, the platform got its own name and a clear vision: a single central panel for managing several separate client sites, each with its own section structure.
The last known version is 13.04 — the number follows a year.month scheme, meaning April 2013. An earlier known version is 10.2, from 2010. Access was through an email address, a password, and a graphical CAPTCHA; the interface was deliberately simple — white and blue, a sidebar menu with bracket styling, no unnecessary decoration.

Structure
The panel supported several separate client domains at once, each with access only to its own section structure — home, about, news, events, and the like. New sections couldn't be added through the panel, only content within existing ones.
The system was designed to be installable locally, on the client's own hosting, but could also run remotely — managed centrally from a single server serving several client domains at once. In some cases, a single installation edited several related sites for the same client — for example, a main site and its subsites. In an earlier version (10.2, 2010), this was visible right on the login screen: a “domain” field with a dropdown for choosing which of the managed sites to edit.
Multilingual support worked at the individual-page level, not the whole-site level — an independent English version could be added for each article, via an “add English version” button in the list. It wasn't a field in the same form, but a completely separate article, edited independently of the Bulgarian one.
Every page could be uploaded as a draft and published separately, with a “take down / publish” button — so a client could prepare text before it went live on the site.
A section's home page could not be deleted, only edited — so the site's structure couldn't be accidentally torn down.
Limitations
The system had a few honestly documented limitations:
- Video from YouTube only — other platforms weren't supported.
- No trash — deleted content couldn't be recovered.
- No reordering of content.
